EDL Solutions:

Salesforce.com named one of web's most innovative companies

Updated: 2010-03-05

Salesforce.com
was recently named the sixth-most innovative web company by Fast Company for its enterprise cloud computing and overall SaaS innovation. As a provider of customer relationship management software, Salesforce.com is one of the leading companies in the industry. However, the company has also received great praise and benefit for its willingness to take full advantage of all cloud computing can offer.

Salesforce.com helps companies track clients and carefully analyze consumer trends that help the company and its clients. As social CRM has become increasingly popular, Salesforce.com has implemented tools on its product that allow companies to track clients and respond to complaints or questions customers post on their Facebook or Twitter page.

"We're excited to part of this esteemed group of internet innovators," said Marc Benioff, chairman and CEO of Salesforce.com. "Salesforce.com and our millions of users have shown that the internet has the power to revolutionize business just as it has the consumer world."

The success Salesforce.com has experienced led Benioff to comment earlier this year that cloud computing can change IT if companies are willing to ignore the hype surround the security risks.ADNFCR-2178-ID-19654639-ADNFCR
