Callidus expands SaaS sales performance management offerings

Sales performance management software developer Callidus unveiled a new expansion of its suite of SaaS solutions for the Force.com platform this week at Salesforce.com's Dreamforce user and development conference in San Francisco.

The SPM developer's Callidus Plan Communicator and Commissions Manager applications are designed to help companies optimize sales compensation processes, as well as commission projections, approvals and claims. The expansions to the Force.com suite presented the week include functions for managing expense claims, channel integration, cost-of-sale analysis and mobile enablement.

"With our new suite of Force.com solutions, customers can quickly transform their sales processes at a low cost," said Callidus president and chief executive Leslie Stretch.

The company said the SaaS-based suite will let clients increase the efficiency of sales compensation processes from commissions to expenses, and see a detailed, all-inclusive picture of the cost of sale, by deal and account.

Callidus is a sales performance management software developer founded in 1996 and based in San Jose, California. Its web-based software solutions are available on a subscription basis over Salesforce.com's enterprise cloud computing platform.
