Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand their integration requirements and develop integration strategies.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and corresponding business processes.
- Lead requirement gathering sessions and drive the mapping of data elements between systems.
- Create clear and concise documentation deliverables.
- Design, implement, and validate orchestrations for middleware platforms.
- Work effectively with clients, partners and colleagues and develop strong working relationships.
- Contribute to established best practices through experience garnered from client engagements.
- Provide status reports and raise issues on a timely basis.
Requirements
- 5-10 years experience in Systems Integration
- Willingness to take on new challenges and environments on a frequent basis
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Experience with project management and requirement gathering techniques
- Understanding of issues regarding scalability, reliability and performance optimization within distributed architectures
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical degree
- Expertise in four or more of the following:
- Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) integration experience especially with Salesforce.com (NetSuite, RightNow, or similar also applicable)
- E-Commerce integration experience especially with Sterling Multi-channel Selling (Portal Applications, B2B, B2C, B2E or other also applicable)
- EAI, middleware, or other integration experience at the enterprise level (Cast Iron, TIBCO, webMethods, BEA WebLogic, J2EE/JMS)
- ERP and/or CRM integration experience (Oracle Applications, SAP, PeopleSoft, JDE, Baan, QAD, Siebel, or other CRM)
- EDI, FlatFile, FTP, Secure FTP, SSL, RosettaNet, ebXML, Ariba.
- Guaranteed delivery, error handling, re-submission, high availability architectures, clustering
- Business Process Management – understanding of different industries and common business processes in industries
- Human Work Flow and long-lived processes
- Significant depth of experience in two or more of the following areas:
- RDBMS (any of Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MySQL, Sybase, and Informix). Strong understanding of databases, distributed objects, guaranteed delivery and performance optimization techniques. Working knowledge of SQL, triggers, PL/SQL stored procedures.
- XML technologies including DTD, XSLT, XPATH, XSD and XQuery. Development using XML, HTTP/S, Web Services, SOAP, SOA, WSM, Security
- Experience with mapping tools, flat-files parsers, batch processing, messaging
- Java/C++/object oriented programming and distributed computing
- Unix/Linux, NT, AS400 experience
